Does This Change Your View on History?

I have heard about the Kailasa Temple and have dug into it a little bit. It's one of those things that I would like to do more research on when I have time. For now this is a simple bookmark for me that I can come back to and add as I learn. Ultimately, it is pretty incredulous that this could somehow be built by carving stone.

Here's some questions that I am of course asking myself - could this possibly be done with a hammer and chisel, could we do something like this even with todays technology, why aren't more people asking questions and investigating, what impact could this have on our history?
